BUNIONS & HAMMERTOES
(crooked toe deformities).
Collectively, Dr. Rockmore and Dr. Horling have completed several hundred procedures using the latest minimally invasive and reconstructive techniques. The latest techniques using internal fixation allow most patients to walk on their feet the same day of surgery and get their feet wet after the 10th postoperative day.

PAIN & NEUROPATHY
Both Dr. Rockmore and Dr. Horling have advanced training in peripheral nerve problems, including neuropathy and pinched nerves. Dr. Rockmore is part of the New Jersey Peripheral Nerve Surgery Restoration Team. Even if other doctors cannot offer a solution for your pain, we may be able to, because after all, pain is a function of nerves and if you can properly test them and treat them, the pain may be a thing of the past.

DIAGNOSTICS:

  • The only office in the area to offer Quantitative Sensory Testing with the PSSD, a painless noninvasive test to identify nerve problems as a source of pain.
  • High-Resolution Ultrasound: Helps diagnose ligament, tendon problems on the spot that would otherwise require a waiting period for an MRI.
  • Computer GAIT Analysis (walking analysis): Shows how you walk and balance problems.
  • Arterial Doppler: Circulation testing with rapid results.

TREATMENTS:

  • Dellon Nerve Decompression Procedure:
Dr. Rockmore is 1 of approximately 300 surgeons worldwide to be trained by the pioneer of this procedure that is effective in alleviating chronic pain associated with neuropathy as well as burning, numbness and tingling sensations.
  • Extra-corporeal Shock Wave Procedure:
Blade-less procedure performed in the office for heel spurs, plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.
  • Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation for Heel Spurs, Plantar Fasciitis, Neuromas, and Nerve Pain:
A non-invasive technique to turn pain signals off. Can offer pain relief without surgery
  • Laser Treatment to eradicate nail fungus

Diabetes and Your Feet
With a diabetic foot, a wound as small as a blister from wearing a shoe that's too tight can cause a lot of damage. Diabetes decreases blood flow, so injuries are slow to heal. Read More...

Heel Spurs
Plantar fasciitis (or heel pain) is commonly traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. Our practice can evaluate arch pain and may prescribe customized shoe inserts called orthoses to help alleviate the pain. Read More...
